I am presently exploring the skaldic corpus further and looking into new connections between Beowulf and Old Norse literature.

I have published on a variety of Old Norse eddic and skaldic verse as well as Íslendingasögur and fornaldarsögur. My research interests encompass a wide range of Old Norse literary genres. It explores parallels between physical and verbal crafting and their practitioners in a variety of sources from medieval Scandinavia, including, but not limited to, Old Norse literature and archaeology. My PhD thesis, which I conducted under the supervision of Dr Judy Quinn, is entitled 'Craftsmen and Wordsmiths: An Investigation into the Links Between Material Crafting, Poetic Composition and Their Practitioners in Old Norse Literature'. I graduated with a PhD from the University of Cambridge in October 2020. I am a researcher currently working on Old Norse skaldic verse at Utrecht University's Institute for Cultural Enquiry (ICON).
